SINGAPORE – November 2, 2011 -- Heraeus, a world leader in developing front and back-side silver pastes for crystalline solar cells, is having the grand opening celebration of its Asian Photovoltaics Center in Singapore, on November 4. The center will be Heraeus’ latest full-service facility complete with research and development, manufacturing, sales and technical service capabilities. “Heraeus is committed to increasing its capacity with several expansions, including the new facility in Singapore,” said Andy London, Global Manager for the Photovoltaic Business Unit. “Although the industry is going through a short-term consolidation, we expect full recovery and growth in the future.”
